I’ve kept my promise so far I guess. Well today I had Driver’s Ed. (that’s where I learn how to drive). I had a good day though. I always think if you start the day with a good attitude it will end up good no matter what happens. Today I got to excersize my missionary skills. I got to tell my teacher (Mr. C) who is in a wheelchair about our religion. And also a girl named Kendra. I invited her to a “come unto Christ” thing, so I’ll tell you how that goes later. I hope that she comes to know it’s true. Jared and I are on speaking terms and who knows maybe he’ll end up being my best friend like Isaac?? Au reviour.
October 19th, 1993
Well, this is the start of my journal keeping. I'll start out by describing myself. I'm Sarah, named after my third great grandmother. I'm 5'1" and 95 pounds (not very big). I have blonde hair and eyes that change with what I'm wearing. Maybe I'm an alien. Just kidding. Well I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of which I have a strong testimony. I believe all of the teachings are true, that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and that the Book of Mormon is also true. A while ago my best friend Meghan and I went to do baptisms for the dead and she baptized my third great grandmother, and I confirmed her and that night she came to me in a dream saying "Thank you, and thank Meghan for me". That is what got me out of my doubting stange and strengthend my testimony. Recently a lot has been going on that I haven't really been writing about. Well I haven't been writing period. For one, my parents got divorced. Satan has ppower over a lot of things, and he obviously got a firm hold over my family. I hope it's OK that I haven't quite been able to forgive them. But I'm trying. Next I moved away from everyone I loved and had to move over here to hick town!!! But I met a wonderful guy named Jared who definitely has some spiritual growing up to do. But he'll someday be wonderful again. Now Jeremy has re-entered my life, whom I've been in love with since 7th grade. My best friends are Meghan, Isaac, Whitney, Al and my brother. Without them I would be where I am today. I am making a challenge to myself right now to write in my journal every night so that my kids and my kids kids and son can get to know the real me, and what I was like when I was their age. I was a kid once too. I just want to tell you that if you belong to the Mormon church you are doing something right and no matter what other people say you always have someone rooting for you on the other side. I'll always love you.
November 21st, 1992
Today is Saturday. It was so embarrassing yesterday! You see Ryan came over and we were gonna watch Beauty & the Beast. So I gave him the tour of the house, we got down stairs and my brother had a chair set up in front of him, Nick, Ty and Jamie and they started questioning Ryan. I was so embarrased. Today I'm gonna go jogging. I also get to see Dracula with Ryan today. I can't wait.
November 14th, 1992
Today is Saturday. I played in a VBall tournament. We lost every game. But I'm not that mad. Soon I'll have to go to Cheerleading. We're playing the regionals. We already won state. Last night Ryan VG asked me out. He is so hot! Anyway, I had a slumberparty Thursday night. It was so fun. What and I got up on the roof and started dancing to Chim chim eree. It was funny.
November 9th, 1992
Yo! A lot has happened since I last wrote, well here it is. I went to California and at first I was pretty much a loner, but then this guy named Tyler asked me about myself. Well he introduced me to a lot of people and I had a ton of friends. Then at a dance I met Graham and we kissed a couple times. Then I had to go home and school started and I liked a few people since, but haven't had a boyfriend yet. But on Friday night I met Ryan VG. He's a 7th grader, but I don't care. Well we talked a few times and I think he's gonna ask me out! We're going to the movies on Wednesday but on Friday when this was happening 2 of my best friends got drunk, and one had to go to the hospital. Now she's got an MIP and that will go on her record which brings us to today which is pretty cool, but I'm kinda too hyper to go to sleep.

Today I went over to Tanya's house and she gave me a hair tie. It's really neato mesquito. We also went to see Encino Man. It was Hilarious. I met Jason, Brian and David (people that work at the movie theater) We also called Ryan G. from the lobby phone!!

Today was the last day of school it was pretty depressing. We watched Home Alone and everyone was giving each other kisses on the cheeks! Well gotta go!
